    Vetyeka is sidling in, pulling his upper body away so that Donaire's jab and fishing-line right clang off his left bicep. Pause, the ref has the doctor look at Donaire's cut. Vetyeka is caught by a lead right hand up top and Donaire steps in with a left hook on the body. Very scrappy, lots of misses parlayed into arm bashes across the head, and some low blows as Vetyeka grabs at Donaire's waist to halt their head-on momentum, which is causing frequent head clashes. Donaire's cut is spurting liberally now. Another pause to look at it. Time in. Donaire is dipping his knees and posing. Vetyeka lands a stiff jab on the teeth.

    Vetyeka is backed into a corner as Donaire plugs hard jabs and rights into the body. Vetyeka laughs at him and jumps outside, inviting him in for more and waving down at himself. Donaire is held outside by the jab and caught across the nostrils with a right hand. Big right hand by Donaire up top powering through a Vetyeka flurry. Vetyeka is knocked back and needs the ropes to support himself. No knockdown ruled. Donaire is forcing his jab in past Vetyeka's. Right hand up top by Donaire. Vetyeka gallops in and out with a 1-2.
