Tyson meets Tyson in the center of the ring they trade shots and Tyson is the winner.

86 Mike would have serious struggles with current Fury. It's a shame for Fury he's been unable to get back in the ring since Wilder2 to further show his mettle.

Think in terms of lb for lb theres no comparison. Mike tyson is light years ahead. But size does matter. As everyone knows theres a resson for weight classes.

Still cant help but think mike tyson would have too much for fury. If you look back at the 80,s they really were skilled operators in comparison with most of todays bunch. Looks to me like the heavyweight division is mostly made up of part time fighters like molina etc. A lot of guys kicking about that lack skill. Take too long off inbetween fights etc. On the otherhand tyson was training continually...training like a professional from 14 years old.

Furys great at using his attributes to nullify opponents but tbh he,s actually lacking in the skill department in comparison and the guys in the division lack the skill to even test that. Size matters i still think the skill difference is so vast mike tyson would beat him. The only reason that wouldnt be the case is if the weight size was too much.

Look at wilder and wlad both top fighters today when fury fought them anyway. As soon as fury started winning they had no idea what else to do...cause both never really had skill. The 80,s guys get stick...but go bsck and watch some of their fights. The all pretty much had good jabs. Could fight and box. Could fight on the move. Most had a great variety of punches. We,rent quite as predictable as the guys today. Knew how to set people up etc. Today you,ve got wilder getting a reputation off of beating stiverne, breazeale etc. I cant really name one thing either of these guys do well. Same with most of todays heavyweight division.

Thing is Mike’s got a chin, and the big oaf slappy punches are not going to deter him. Too much to prove for the youngster he chops the big man down

Prime Mike would spark out AJ and Bootleg D early but with his size, length, elusiveness, slickness, movement and skills Fury stands a much better chance of pulling it off. I used favour Mike via savage KO but if Fury was on his game he has all the attributes and tools to cause him nightmares. One mistake and it could be over in a heartbeat though and for that reason I'd still favour Mike even though Fury gets the gypsy vote.
