    This

Its al flawed system that people seems to bring up as a gospel result of a close fight

Yeah, it’s two guys watching a fight pressing buttons.

It’s essentially a version of the **** scoring system people hated in amateur boxing.

    No. It is accurate.

The simple test is to re-watch the fight. It will take you about 1-2 hours for rewinds and scoring.

Please post your round scoring here. We have the right to oppose Compubox, but we must provide evidence.

I honestly dont have the time for that and to be blunt neither care enough to do so

I saw a good fight, my unprofessional eye gave it to Taylor 7 - 5

And on to next weeks boxing

And that is why opinion does not matter.

Ok, great. Compubox manage to hire only people with other worldly levels of observation and dexterity, so the results of their key-bashing are 100% accurate.

That still leaves the issue that it only assesses a singular aspect of boxing scoring, and conflates different types of scoring punches into one generic blob of non-jabs.

It’s irrelevant how I or anyone else scored the fight to the significance of compubox figures. I wouldn’t have a problem with Prograis getting the nod.

Why come to a forum if opinion does not matter?
    Kinda defeats the object

Prograis clearly won the last 2 rounds so 117-112 scorecard from the Italian judge means Prograis only won 1 of the first 10 rounds. That's not just bad scoring. I'm sorry but it's daylight robbery. The fight was not on the level.

Considered opinion and discussion is great. Subjective opinion, e.g. "I think he won because I did think so" - is not so good.

We have measurement now, which is there to take us out of subjective and biased opinion. Me included.

    The fight occured last night
Personally i dont think considered opinion is possible at this time

If this system was so bang on why dont they use it instead of judges?
    Genuine question

    Anyhow we see it differently
Thats not going to change anytime soon so ill leave it there

Not a big fan of stats, they tell you anything you want to believe, I remember of stats of Leon Britton being made out to be the best passer of a ball in Europe, it was only when you dug down they were all backwards or sideways!
I had Prograis winning by a round personally . I thought the rolling and slipping etc was really clever. Think the first couple were close and I gave them to him but could have easily been given to Taylor. It’s what you like. I agree the Italian judge was probably still thinking it was Chisora price

Commentators were going nuts when Taylor threw punches which landed clearly on Regis's gloves !

Still the fight was close enough not to be an outright robbery and there is always a home country advantage, doesn't matter which country, there is always at least a few points bias to the home fighter

Measurement that is fundamentally flawed and not actually aligned with the scoring criteria used in the sport.

Boxing is a subjective sport to score. 30+ years of compubox have not resolved that. if anything, they have only muddied the waters.
