No. They were all, except for Margo and Diaz, quality opponents at the top of their weight classes.

    What about these fighters;

    Sharmba Mitchell
    Zab Judah
    Carlos Baldomir
    Oscar De La Hoya
    Ricky Hatton
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Shane Mosley

morales was also weight drained in second and last fights never mind he lost to raheem before pac beat him.

    conclusion.

given the fact that pa has shown a pattern of fighting weight drained slow plodding fighters who havent been on more than a two fight win streak and are physially andmentally shells of their selves i think it is faiur to ay tht pac is agood fighter but seriously hyped.

if only people knew wht being shot weight drained andphysically a shell of yourself does to a fighter.

So you two are obviously pacfags who think he can do no wrong. The answer is yes. They're all low hanging fruit. His people cherry pick and none of you cocksuckers can admit it. If he fights Shane next it's undeniable. This Manny only fights war torn damaged goods on the decline.

    No.

At this level whoever you choose they'll say you ducked someone, opponents are handpicked etc.

This is a very good list, if anyone said a couple of years ago Pac would beat all of these guys you'd say he was crazy. There's proof - PacDbest actually did say it and was ridiculed.

:rofl I'm a 'pacfag'? In all my months on ESB, I have never been called that before . In fact, I have spent most of the last week trying to educate *******s on how Pac isn't the P4P no. 1, and that his win over Margo isn't his best win :patsch

But whatever. Obviously if Pac fights Shane he shouldn't get any credit, but that is an 'if'. That fight is not definite. And anyway, Pac's last 7 are on a par with if not better than Floyds. Baldomir, Mitchell, blown up Marquez? I think it's very conceivable to have a prime Marquez, Cotto and 140 pound Hatton ahead of those wins. I doubt you will find many sympathisers with your opinion. Try to be a little less biased.

What about yes those are hand picked and yes so are floyd mayweather's opponents. Simple as that. Doesn't have to be this or that, It can be that both have handpicked opponents.

Margarito, De La Hoya and the Joshua Clottey fights were all meaningless with the opponent having no chance or being completely shot.

Clottey= B level opponent who's only big win is against Zab Judah, nothing more than a novelty fight in Cowboys Stadium to get a fat paycheck.

Margarito= KO'd and looked awful against a journeyman in his previous two fights, this was a title fight in Paul Williams weight class, Paul Williams is the man at 154lbs.

De La Hoya= Freddie Roach his previous trainer knowing DLH was shot and DLH weighing 145lbs for the first time since 1997.

Everyone on this list except for David Diaz and Ricky Hatton.
In all Fairness Ricky looked alright until Pac came along. And David Diaz was a fighter he was testing 135lbs. with. The rest, well they were either damaged or forced to fight @ a catchweight. I give him credit due to some very careful matchmaking above 140.

Can I just say if people are going to run about and say Pacquiao's resume is hand-picked and not as strong as it looks then this forum has gone ****ing crazy.

Let me state I am NOT fan of Pacquiao. I like him obviously, but I dont consider myself a major fan of his.

Nonetheless, its hard to see who else he could have faced. He's beaten a lot of fighters even the number 2 p4p has not faced, such as Cotto/Margarito/Clottey.

Its not top ten of all time stuff, but its still excellent.

Stop trying to find holes, Pacquiao's resume is what it is. Great.

I'm man enough to admit I'm an ass then. It pisses me off that people mostly criticise Floyd but they give a free pass to Manny for doing the same ****. I believe in equality and justice for some naive reason but it seems alot of these people who call themselves fans of boxing have a real selective perception on matters.
