@PhillyPhan69 mentioned how everyone's favourites are ATGs, which is a trend I'm not about to buck. But in light of this I'll give a quick HM to Marvin Johnson, who is one of my favourite fighters of all time.

My actual favourite is Ezzard Charles, why? He was a stand up bloke, had an interesting life, an up and down career, was an educated man and always seemed to be underrated. His fighting style is one of my favourites to watch, slick defence and lots of infighting.

Mine is Holyfield as well. Ultimate warrior, very exciting fighter with exceptional skills. Yes, I'm sure he took roids just like every other top fighter of his era did - Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Roy Jones, James Toney and others. But roids can't give you things like heart and skills

I cant list just one. There are a few that have a special place in my heart.

The fighter that made me the fan of the sport was the the great Alexis Arguello, tremendous blend of of boxing skill and punching power combined with all the intangibles that make for a great fighter.

Julio Cesar Chavez- The best all-around fighter I've ever seen period! Offense, defense, he didn't have many weaknesses.

Evander Holyfield- The Ultimate Warrior, nothing else needs to be said.

Juan Manuel Marquez- Poetry in motion. There is no better combination puncher in the sport that I've ever seen.
The fluidity in which he threw straights, hooks and uppercuts was a sight to behold.

Those 4 are my favorites of all-time, but there are so many more fighters that have given me such joy in watching them perform, so many to list.

    Fernando Vargas.

I was a teen drunk on rage. I was new to the sport , but loved it, and he was one of the first fighters to make an impact on me. I connected to Vargas's firey character, and appreciated his blend of ferocity and skills. The determination he showed in the Winky and Trinidad fights, the skills he showed in the Ike fight... the passion he showed in the Campas fight. He embodied what being a warrior was to the teenage me.

    Smokin' Joe Lewis! :ggg

    Seriously, it's Joe Louis.
I love the Heavyweight division, that despite skill quality and depth issues is still the division of kings, and the king of kings is Joe Louis. His skill was incredible for the time, great power and hardly any disputed decision in his entire career, unlike some of his peers. Total domination over the division for years.

    Mike Tyson...just because...

Just thinking of Mike Tyson fills me with purpose, motivation, inspiration.... drive.

He is every fighters fav fighter (secretely or openly)... you see all these gym guys wearing Mike Tyson sweaters and vests... the guy was an animal... amazing work ethic.. hard worker in the gym.. precise... driven... omg...

He was amazing.... the whole short stature thing as well... just so inspiring.. to be this short compact little dude knocking down behemoth giants. Having them intimidated from the first bell

Look even how George foreman speaks about Tyson
