Without getting too technical the reason Hatton lost is because his arms are too short.Simp[le as that.He had no jab and had to over commit to get close to Floyd. He was constantly open to Floyd's straight right which Floyd used to set Hatton up for the left hook.:hi:
the reason why hatton lost is even simpler: mayweather is just several classes above hatton, end of story! mayweather is the real deal. hatton just solid fighter who got totally overrated for years. as the asswhuppin showed.
The real reason Hatton lost is because Floyds arms are to long...:!: Why not make up a useful thread. Something like: "Why didn't Hatton go to the body more???":deal Floyd was right there.
DLH was able to score against Floyd with his jab - Hatton was at a huge disadvantage because he couldn't score outside and had to lunge in with his left hook leaving him repeatetly open
Hatton lost because Mayweather is better, accept it or join Championsforever's club of whiny bitches. :hi:
Maan everybody is open to that straight right and those pop shots that mayweather hits you with. Regardless of how short his(ricky) hands were(which was a factor in the fight) its hard to hit floyd because the raw hand speed and accuracy. And he throws that straight right to keep you off balance and out of rythm, which is a good shot and is effective. "You can play basketball and tennis, but you cant PLAY boxing"-James Toney. No matter what any boxer does you cant simulate floyds raw speed(in training or anywhere else), what he brings to the ring can't be taught, that is natural ability, he is in a class of his own and unless you bring a BETTER,FASTER boxer to the ring. Floyd is not losing no time soon.(my opinion)
You've got a nerve coming on here (all proud with yourself and ****) after your boy got a severe beating:bbb ..we can finish what's remaining of Hatton huggnation (basically you) if you want:deal
True, but the reach difference was huge and Floyds effectiveness inside was another big factor along with him being better and faster i suppose
