No he is not. Brook has not fought anyone who can even crack an egg with their punches, his resume is the worst of any prospect I have seen at the same stage. Seriously, the worst.

Khan would obliterate Brook and it would not be close.

But Khan has fought a better standard of opponent generally than Brook has.

Brook has a resume full of guys called up on two or three days notice - nearly as many as Frochy has!

Gomez is 10 times the puncher anyone that Brook has faced. And when have I said that Khan is not chinny? I have said his chin is not good enough and I was saying it after I watched him hurt by a nothing shot from Craig Watson in the ams.

But who Khan has faced is not the question, it is who is better out of Khan and Brook and who has fought the better opponents. Brooks resume is PATHETIC.

I have shown you just how bad before but you choose to ignore it, because you fancy Brook.
It does not mean that Kell does not have ability but he has been dropped too and by a complete nobody. Graham Earl is a far bigger puncher than anyone Brook has fought and Earl only has a 50% KO win ratio.

Gomez has 24 stoppage wins in 35 fights and Khan has also shown far more power than Brook. He is one of only two people to stop Willie Limmond, the other being Alex Arthur.
He is one of only two people to stop Graham Earl, the other bigging the BIG hitting Katsidis, and Khan did Earl in one round.

Khan has also beaten people of far more note and experience, such as St Clair who as recently as 2006 was the IBF World Champion beating Baloyi and who has gone the distance with Corrales and Vivian Harris.

Who the **** has Brook fought? Lets look at the biggest puncher on his resume...

Barrie Jones. That is the best name and the most proven puncher on Brooks resume and Jones has a total of 7 stoppage wins all of which come at the low end of the domestic scene.

In his previous 2 fights Brook faced guys with losing records. In fact in 17 Professional fights, Brook has fought 3 men who actually have more wins than losses and one of those was 2-1-1 at the time but has gone on to have a current record of 5-9.

So as of today Brooks 17 opponents consist of 2 men who have not lost more fights than they have won, and if I get the time later to show how many stoppage wins those opponents have between them it will be truly embarassing.

I would quit while you are behind if I was you.

Karl David, record 20-9, and has 9 KO's, three of those never won a fight between them!

Barrie Jones has 7 KO's, and both of his defeats have come against guys that are less than chumpy.

If it was a race from John O'Groats to Land's End, Strike would be halfway down the M5 while you would be climbing over Hadrian's Wall :rofl

You are not going to argue with me, because you have known me for a long time and know that...

    a) I am almost always right.

    b) Even when I am wrong I win the argument anyway because I am so damn clever.

    c) Brooks list of opponents is indeed gash and even you know this deep
down; but don't let that stop you, the Kell Brook poster and your rampant rabbit from having a good Monday.:good

    Finally another poster from Yorkshire!!

Brook is a decent prospect, but that is all - the welterweight division is fairly strong at domestic level and I expect him to lose his 0 shortly, unless Sports Network has acquired control of the BBBC rankings.

There was a gap of 1 hour and 45 minutes between your last post and this one. That is quite a heavy session.

Err, they don't. None of them have a record to match St Clair's.

    Exactly.

And it is pointless to say "If Brook had fought.." because he didn't. And if he had he might already have lost.
The point is who have they fought and thus who has more of a right to be deemed the better more proven fighter.

I have no problem with Brook, I hope he does well, he is a young British fighter. But Khan won an Olympic Silver medal, and has beaten better opponents, including a guy who was a world champion 2 years ago. He has also fought bigger punchers despite clearly being protected from punchers in general and he has stopped a higher class of opponent too.

So on what basis does Brook qualify as better?

Emma, why fancy skinny dehydrated Welterweights when you could fancy full power muscled Heavyweights?

Would you love Kell to wear his British title naked Infront of you?

Seriously though, he can win the Lonsdale outright and Is a good counter puncher but Khan has fought the better guys also Is on a different level.
