For the British title. Now Morris can exact his revenge, his rightful revenge. He deserves the third fight, he was the superior fighter in the rematch.

This is not an anti Simpson poster here because I like John as a boxer and think he has great heart and commitment and plenty of skills, but I wonder can he actually win this other than another injury retirement for Morris, just cannot see it

Morris clear points win unless anyone can see any differently

John has every chance of winning this fight and cant wait to prove everyone wrong that the only reason he won last time was through the cut. Johns plan was to work the body and wear morris down and if you watch the fight again you will notice it was working morris was starting to tire john would have stopped morris even if he didnt have the cut and thats exactly what he will be do again. Morris is a big featherweight and struggles to make the weight so its the obvious way to beat him. In there 1st fight everyone seems to forget john had the flu and shouldnt have even been in the ring that night. I had £100 on john at 7/1 last time and ill be doing the same again!!!

If Simpson wins I will consider it VERY impressive. Morris is his superior and that was in the rematch too. In the rematch Morris was sharp as ****. Simpson got the injury win and got lucky.

See this is what I find fascinating you two guys have both seen the
second fight from totally different views. One says Morris was on top the other says Simpson was, one of you guys is obviously wrong, problem being I don't know which one.

Anyone see the second fight and could let me know how it was going prior to the stoppage.

Was Simpson lucky or was he in fact getting the upper hand with the body attack.

Think this is a good fight but having seen the first fight only naturally heavily favour Morris but if that was negated by the second one then will save a good few bob and just watch the fight rather than bet on it.

Thanks for all the comments guys

Morris was ripping Simpson up to head, to body, with the jab, with combos, with everything. I think he probably won every round too.

I would need to watch it again to see if Simpson was putting a game plan into effect i.e. wearing him down.

Thanks Max, thats interesting but did Morris look to you like he was tiring due to the body attack or was it simply the case of being cut took him out of stride.

The first fight morris won easily fair and square John had the flu going into the fight but isnt usung that as an excuse the better man won. the 2nd fight John knew he wasnt going to get a points decision doen there so only way he couls stop morris was to wear him down which if you watch the fight again even before morris was cut he seemed to tire. yeah it shouldnt have been stopped so early everyone knows that but was time john got a bit of luck he deserves it especially after the dazzo williams fight were he was robbed. the thing alot of people dont realise johns confidence is now sky high after actually winning the title then defending it and also how well he perfomred against derry matthews hes a very different fighter to the 1 who faced morris 2nd time round. he has been working alot on his power now as you would have seen against ryan barrett if any of yous have seen the fight. this 3rd fight is going ot be alot different to the 1st 2 fights and i promise you will see a different simpson. you heard it here 1st.

Yeah micky your right this will be the 1st of warrens shows on setanta will be on the 7th september down in london in i think its the hilton hotel its some charity show thatwarren does every year.

this will be johns 2nd defence and not 1 of them has been on a proper show never mind even up here in scotland i think its shocking that a champion cant even get to defend his title in his own country! his 1st defence was some dinner show and now this??? if this was morris, matthews or foster jr they would be able to defend it in there home towns respectively.

He could of been tiring. There Is a case for It.

I don't know why Andy Is a featherweight when he was a lightweight as an amateur though according to Duke.

yeah he is a very big featherweight and he does seem to tire as the fight goes on the same happened when he fought rendall munroe. its just the usual with some people on here they only see what they want to see. if you watch the fight you will see he is def starting to tire and that was due to the fact john was working the body.
