i rate Ricky highly mate he deserves to be where he is.

i don't think we will have to wait 2-3 years though for Crolla to be beating Burns. I would say he could cause Burns problems now. A few more big fights and i would say he beats him.

Each to their own opinion though mate.

I dont think its out of the world to suggest the British Champ could with some wins and development challenge Burns:huh

 

you need to open your eyes mate boxing doesnt just happen in Manchester, imo Anthony and Ricky will never meet as they are at different levels. Anthony need to prove himself the best LW in the country 1st and is he? Please dont think coz were north of Manchester were nothing coz we are and were proving it!

I know why Billy gets into arguments on here though haha coz if he doesn't like something he won't debate it he will just come back with something daft and patronising like he did wi me 'ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ'

Crolla looks as good as any young fighter coming through - he has improved so much since he fought Sykes and all credit to Joe Gallagher. He has looked brilliant in his last couple of fights.

Burns is at world level on merit, it is sickening that some people try to take the gloss off his brilliant win over Martinez - in what was a class fight. Also, the atmosphere at his fights seems to be great and Burns comes across as a real genuine nice guy - good luck to him.

And Billy Nelson, dont forget was trainer of the year - he is entitled to big up his fighters and his achievements! Joe G bigs up his fighters and gym achievements too - and fair play to him as well - he has plenty to be proud off too.

Ricky Burns is a great fighter and a lovely lad, he took the time to have a chat with us after his fight at Upton Park on the way back from the ring...:yep

For me the Johannsen fight was the best thing that ever happened to Ricky...:yep It was a huge turning point and cornerstone for Rick, he took stock, took a fresh approach and has not looked back...:yep

Lots of people on here are making comparisons to other Scottish fighters from days gone by...:nono Ricky Burns is who he is, he is a credible World Champion following his fantastic display against Martinez...:deal
