Totally agree... I'd be more than delighted to watch III

Felt for Truscott a bit, he cuts so easy. I think he still has plenty to offer so I hope he learns from these 2 fights and comes back stronger. What a junkie face he's got though!!!

Simpson, on the other hand, was excellent. He obviously had a point to prove and did it. Whoever he fights next will need to start putting the extra hours in at the gym because they know they'll be in for a tough fight.

Great to have some domestic boxing back again :good

Appleby was poor that night, it was a cauldron, some atmosphere, but got beat fair and square - a good learning experience for him. I got the impression though it could have turned nasty had Lindsey not won?

Re Simpson. Magic fight. Trus has a lot of heart. Simpson looked far more hungry than I've seen him in recent times.

Whether he could take Linsday over in Belfast though?

If that's the case, then I agree it was out of order, but it's out of order describing ALL Lindsay fans as assholes.

It's a bit like me saying all Simpson fans are drug dealin, buckie drinkin, heroin injectin, unemployed jackeys, just cause they come from Greenock!

    Hang on............just thinkin about it..........

    lol

Anyway, back to the matter in hand, Lindsay V Simpson, Kings Hall, December. Would be class, Martin to win on points, but as I stated earlier, I could make a case for Simpson.

If Simpson beats Lindsey I think its time he featured in the top ten Boxing news UK fighters of the year. He's beaten some quality fighters, against the odds- time and time again.

Agreed. I thought his attitude was better against Trus, well, he looked far more hungry. Powerful too. Sparring with Burns maybe helped.

Still not sure if he could pull it off over in the lions den!

I think Simpson would beat Lindsay as well.Think his experience plus he looks as if he's getting stronger .Against Truscott he looked solid and dug deep. He's boxed more than double the rounds as Lindsay as well .Don't think he would be stupid enough to get stopped because his experience or get caught with any shots like the one Matthews got caught with.Simpson stoppage , hopefully if it goes ahead .Simpson decision , good chance. Lindsay stoppage , would be the first:bbb .Lindsay decision , close maybe but think Simpson would outbox him.

    Just watched the fight.

Hard not to be impressed with Simpson at the moment....he looks great! Easy to forget hes only 26 as well.....seems like hes been around forever but al his experiece really seems to be paying off

Simpson-Lindsay has to be made now.
