Lindsay could do with an easy fight. A tough fight with Derry Matthews then another cracking fight with Appleby.

Where the hell did I say that Smoggie? please dont play with my words.

Look, I know you love Truscott, but Im just telling it how it is. Team Truscott has got all bitter about the Simpson fight, & Truscott himself hasnt stopped whingeing since he got stopped.
Then we hve all his 'people' on the forums, taking away from John Simpson, & even making up lies about the fight, & what Simpson was supposed to have said afterwards. Thnks to Simpsons sister coming in and clearing it up though, the bull**** stopped for a while.

Now though, Truscott has cried so much that hes got his rematch. Just like Morris did. History has a habit of repeating itself Smoggy, thats all I am saying.

I think Simpson will win this one tbh.I think looking at the two records Simpson looks like the stronger more experienced boxer.
    Height
Simpson 5.7 Truscott 5.9 advantage Truscott

    Rounds boxed
Simpson 172 Truscott 79 advantage Simpson

    12 rounders
Simpson 9 Truscott 2 advantage Simpson

    KO percentage
Simpson 28 percent Truscott 7.14 percent advantage Simpson

Simpson won 19 ko7 lost6 Truscott won 13 ko1 lost1 Not sure about this one , looking at the losses on Simpson's record theyre all against decent opponents except for one way back in his career.Appelby British title fight .Matthews , robbery supposidley anyway.Andy Morris who he beat twice as well and Dazzo Williams.I think Simpson wins this one defintley

Johns losses have all been it title fights bar 1 which was only his 2nd fight fighting away from home against an undefeated fighter says it all.

His next was his 1st british title fight at only 21 same again away from home to dazzo williams all pundits had john at least 4 rtounds ahead but the ref gave it to williams (decision was so bad it helped change to 3 judges for a british title fight!)

His 3rd which was against andy morris for the british title john had the flu in the run up to the fight and really shouldnt have fought but didnt want to let his fans down as he had a huge following going to braehead arena that night he said himself after the 3rd round he was knackered but no excuses morris dominated and won easily.

His 4th loss was against foster jr for the wbu at a time john had fallen out of love with the sport and actually considered quitting at this time.

His 5th was the ridiculous derry matthews fight once again for the wbu there was no way derry was going to lose this as FW had hyped this fight up so muchwith the likes of stevie gerread and jamies carragher at ringside and being top of the bill on itv. the scorecards were totally inaccurates as 1 judge had derry at 118 even though was put down in the 1st round and was deducted a point and there was no way john lost every round!

his lastloss was to paul appleby when he lost his british title and all fairness no complaints john had an off night and wasnt at his best.

John knows another win against truscott could get him a shot at lindsay for the british and thats the match-up he really wants he wont lose this 1. either by UD or more likely a last stoppage IMO

Whdo you mean AS USUAL??? Im pretty good with my predictions here most of the time, thankyou very much:D
Look. We all know chuckles was the victim of a rotten stoppage, by a ref who **** himself from that horrible Lyndsey crowd who done Irish boxing no favours with their loutish behaviour.
Even a man of my knowledge of the sport underestimated the Irish crowd, & how partizan they would be. Thats why I had a moan about Tommy Gilmour, he shouldnt have put such a young fighter into a lions den(although I prefer to call it just a den) & what unfolded, unfolded.

    "Wrong as usual" Damn noobs!!!

so dunky what u are trying to say that appleby was getting his balls knocked in the 6th round and that he was not going to get stoped any way . Thought u were leaving the site if he got beat .by the way dunky kevin o hara is going to do the same till burns tonight as burns has no punch at all he couldnt stop a bus at a bus stop.

Bottom line is that O'Hara - whilst a good and comptetent fighter - is not in the same league as Burns. Ricky knows that there can be no more slip ups. He needs to keep winning but he needs to win well. I'd imagine that Billy and co. will be drumming the 'no complacency' factor into him tonight. Burns knows if he loses tonight it's a long, long road back.
