Does anyone else feel like this is by far the worst year in boxing, or am I just losing the love for boxing? Cotto-Mayweather was a highlight for me of the year, other then that nothing has really sparkled my interest, I'm really beginning to lose my overall interest in the sport, and most of these young guys with the exception of Gary Russell Jr excite me, Broner is an over the top wannabe character, I'm sure he's taken Floyds "You need a character" thing to heart. Boxing does not need "characters", we need real fighters...

ya kiddin this has been a very good yr a yr of the unexpected Bradley getting the nod vs Pac Lopez coming in as a replacement and busting Ortiz jaw Garcia beating the odds KOing Khan Froch scoring a huge stoppage over Bute in one of Britains big fights Haye redeeming himself by KOing Chisora in brutal fashion FNF has produced some good battles Sillakah getting whacked out old on ESPN tonites fight oughta be good Dawson ending Hopkins reign Dawson Ward hasnt happened yet Mayweather had his msot entertaining fight in a long time i think its been a great time to be a boxing fan dont forget the KO of the yr Bailey knocking Jones to next yr
I think since late last year to present at least I've been enjoying hypejobs getting exposed and beaten. People, especially fanboys, see their fighters aren't as great as they made them out to be. If your a neutral fan or a fan of thr underdog it hasn't been that bad of a year. I'd rather watch a closely competitive, entertaining fight whether its a chessmatch or slugfest instead of a one sided beatdown. People like to see upsets and get shocked.
Khan Garcia, Haye Chisora, Froch Bute and Cotto Mayweather all good Pac Bradley was horrible . I havent been as avid with less well known fights this year so i wouldnt really know.Dont forget Olympics coming up, always good.
