Rios-Acosta, Maidana-Morales war (unexpected), Tyson Marquez-Concepcion, Kirkland-Angulo, Berto-Ortiz, And last but not least, Porpramook-Hernandez and Porpramook-Yaegashi.
I'm counting it as a 12 months year, as a calendar year it's been kind of poor but we've still got a few fights to look forward to Vitali Vs Charr Wlad vs IGB Mandatory Adamek vs Walker And other FOTY candidates Don't give up hope yet
those are exciting fights but no where near as interesting as the massive upsets we have had in 2012 and didnt wars like Huck vs Povetkin and Huck vs Afolabi happen this yr and didnt Yoan Pablo Hernandez and Cunningham give us a good battle in 2012 or was that in 2011 id say this yr has produced some fights that really made the boxing world shake
not the best opponent but when do you see these guys in bad fights Walkers been to war with Arreola and Leapai and has a good punch minus getting crushed by Vitali Adamek is almost always in great fights
half the year left, khan has a fight in december, if his form continues for december it should be a war. pac in november. mathysse should fight a name. chavez vs martinez, morales fighting october. JMM is fighting someone. mediocre year 5/10 so far
It's true, we've still got time left to bring in some good exciting fights, but the year overall so far like you said, has been highly disappointing, specially when we had fights like Berto-Ortiz II, Gamboa-Rios, Khan-Peterson and others lined up. :verysad
I.remember that sillakh bout... Pure comedy gold :deal Oh, and its always a bad year. This year could've been better but to be honest, its been a great year for the above reasons. Boxing needs enthusiasts, not people who constantly give it a black eye. I don't know about you but I rather boxing grow in its fame rather than to say it's ****
I'm looking towards the middleweight division as the most exciting division with some potentially good fights: Sergio Martinez v Julio Cesar Chavez Felix Sturm v Daniel Geale Gennady Golovkin v Grzegorz Proksa I'm also interested in seeing how Dmitry Pirog fits into the lineup. Throw in Peter Quillin and it's looking quite interesting. From an Australian point of view, dare-i-say, Anthony Mundine as well.
maybe you should find another sport to love, ive watched the sport since i was 10 and i will never give up on it. i like all the vets and the new kids on the block. broner is a breathe of fresh air for the sport as well as canelo and the other younger champs as well. nothing wrong with broner wanting to be the next mayweather in ring. the world is a big place and every fighter will have there fans and followers if they are any good. a fighter might not be good for your taste but great for others. boxing is cool because everyone is different and people can find the type of fighters they identify with the most and root them on. so does bxoing need the following broner alvarez khan mayweather pacuiao klitchko the answer is yes yes yes, we need the styles and the personalities. to many people in the world to watch boxing one way or have the fighters acting one way. in boxing you can be you and fans will love you and hate you.
