    JMM IV (1)
    Algieri (6)
    Bradley III (2)
    Vargas (1)
    Matthysse (3)

Speed and angles. Pacquiao will drop Lomachenko for however many times he can make it back up.

One thread per thought today? How long do you think it will take you to calm down after last night? A year? :aplastao:

Power is the last thing to leave a fighter and Pac still has that pop to his shots.

That's like saying I kissed 12 women but only slept with one of them.

While some will see that as success others will see it as missed opportunity or you just don't have the tools to finish the job.

I actually had to mouth that word to get it. Fair does... you gotta milk it while you can. After all, you only have another five years of Pac fights to look forward to...

This is why I still think Pacs power is P4P ATG. How many Flyweights could still drop and knock people out at welter and super welter

Some of you overrate Pac's power. 1 stoppage(by quit job) in almost 10 years with a overall KO ratio of less than 60%. That's definitely NOT ATG power.

Just imagine Juan Francisco Estrada dropping Cotto, Hatton, JMM, Mosley, Algieri, Bradley, Vargas, and Matthysse.

Pac is a great fighter and noone is trying to take anything away from him. Out of all the fighters you mentioned he failed to stop more than half of them and all the ones he did stop had been stopped prior.

To put it in proper perspective(vs his biggest rivals); Floyd's KO% was 54%, JMM's 63% and Pac 57%. Did Floyd and JMM have ATG KO power?

    The knock down king.

But what's so good with knock downs when you can't convert them knock out stoppages?

Pac usually hurts his opponent but comes short of stopping them.He either runs out of time or just can't them out of there.

Case in point Algerie. He had him hurt bad but let him of the hook.

Horn he had Horn wobbled but just couldn't get him out of there.

Was not even CLOSE to knocking down Mr.Floyd Joy Mayweather Sinclair. Mayweather almost knocked him down, actually.

What people don’t realise is, if a world class boxer really don’t want to get ko’d, they won’t. They’ll run, she’ll up, tie up to survive. Specially word class boxers 2 weight classes above the opponent.

Look, MAB was stopped in the first fight but not in the 2nd yet he was older in the 2nd. It’s simple, he fought more cautious as pac got more exposure.

When he initially went up he had a lot of success because bigger guys thought they can just maul him. But as they realised they can’t, others decided to play it safe, look at clottey, even Rios who goes in chin first turtles up and barely threw punches.

I dunno, either most boxing fans actually don’t understand boxing and the nuances of it, or they’re being very disingenuous about the situation.

You think if pac wanted to run around and tie up JMM in their 4th fight he would have got KO’d? He fought wrecklessly and that’s what makes him enjoyable, but that also cost him.

Oh please, the only person that got hurt at all in that fight was Floyd, twice. The only thing hurt about pac was his shoulder.

Even floyds daddy had to ask him why he’s fighting scared.

    That’s pretty stupid.

That’s not a measure of power, power is how hard is a punch when it lands, evidently, when Pac lands clean, fighters get hurt or fall on their ass. That power.

Finishing someone is different entirely, you can have all the power in the world but if the other person wants to run or shell up, you ain’t finishing them, specially if you are underweight where pac was usually outweighed by over 10lbs on fight night.
