GGG(for example) has ATG-type power, Pac has good power. What stuns his opponents is his speed an accuracy. If he had "ATG type power" all those previously mentioned fighters would have not seen the end of the 12th round. The hardest thing is connecting on your opponent with a good punch, something Pac can easily do. He just can't keep them on the canvas cause his power is overrated by people like you.

He was moving it fine all in the buildup. Fact is he was hurt in r1, r11, and several rounds in between. IN r11, Pacquiao was backing off while Sinclair was landing hurtful right hands right down the pipe!

 

1) let’s see how GGG does with his power at LHW or cruiserseight. Pac is the smaller guy, he can’t stalk these guys like GGG van and just bulldoze him, bulldozing is not just power, it’s also strength and size which pac lacks.

2) I’m saying he has the power, but if they don’t want to get KO’d, they won’t because they won’t leave themselves open enough to get tagged clean.

3) to measure power, how does the opponent react when they get tagged clean? Answer is obvious, he’s managed to drop and hurt guys 2-3 weight classes above him naturally. That’s atg power.

I think we can all agree that Pac's best weight is not WW.
Even now he can manage 140 and that's where he'd be a true monster.
Only reason he went up to WW was at the time, all the big money fights (inlcuding Floyd of course) was at the weight.
Had he stayed at LWW, he'd be knocking people out left and right for sure.
Like he will do to Loma if they faceoff there.

Bradley explained it best when comparing JMM and Pac.
Pac's power comes from the speed (or snap) in his punches.
Force = mass x acceleration.
Pac has plenty of acceleration in his punches.
JMM has more mass (he commits more to it).
