It isn't going to sell well at all. It isn't a PPV worthy fight. Period.

The hardcore should be on board hopefully, but neither guy will step out of character to promote this fight, so I say 100k tops, 60k average. The PPV model is for characters with lively personalities.
WWF,UFC and boxing biggest PPVs have involved guys with salesmanship.

This fight will be over 300k. A fight of this magnitude is good enough for at least 300k hardcore fight fan buy.

Such a shame that such a historic fight with two of the best pound for pound boxers of today is gonna do poorly as a pay per view, the build up has been non existent, they should be showing adverts of it on every sports channel,Oscar put more into Liam Smith fight than they're doing with this so far.

It could do around 400k or it could bomb, crazy thing is if it were free like Thurman v Porter and Spences last fight it would have huge numbers watching as the fan base for boxing is still there but not for pay per view?

You're right, there's been no marketing whatsoever it seems, I've seen nothing about this fight

150k tops, I for one will be tempted by this one I wonder what it will cost

150,000 seems like it would be a good number for this fight. It's a truly elite level fight and seems like it has atleast one nice undercard fight lined up already.

Things are looking good on paper it's just neither one of these guys are stars and its going to be tough for the promoters to make money on this show.

I'd be surprised if it cracks 200k.

Let's face it. There aren't many paying hardcore fans outside of the Mexican/Puerto Rican fanbase.

Not going to do very well, and it's due to PPV having been destroyed by using it for mismatches with one big name in them, and totally overpricing them as well.
Happy that PPV dies a painful death, and massively overpaying big name guys fighting walkovers on free tv seems to go the same route, so that's all good news actually. But it's a shame such a good fight as this gets burried because of it, as this should have been a cheap ($20 to $25) PPV or free premium channel bout.
