Since Floyd declined to fight Marquez, should he try to get Darchinyan?

I think this is the fight to be made. Floyd obviously isn't a real welter according to his fans, despite the fact that he's calling for Marquez to fight at welter. So mark off Cotto, Williams, Mosley etc.

He isn't willing to fight at 140, so basically this limits his opposition to Darchinyan.

Marquez called Floyd out so if he wants the fight it should be on his terms. I'd be saying a bigger guy should agree to a smaller fighter's terms if the big guy were the one who wanted the fight.

Floyd is a natural WW. He won't be at his best having to weigh in any below than the WW limit. He hasn't fought at 140 in four years, is 32, and coming off a two year layoff. It's not worth putting himself at a disadvantage if a smaller guy wants to challenge him at a lower weight.

Just because he doesn't cut a whole bunch of weight like half of the boxers out there doesn't mean he isn't fighting in his natural weight class. He has settled into that weight class and a catchweight is asking too much.
