Since Floyd "dominated..." How many 10-8 rounds were there?

He didn't dominate. But he got a clear decision in most peoples eyes.

 

10-8 rounds are extremely rare in boxing. The fighter receiving 8 points has to literally be getting his AZZ beat so bad that he is no longer able to try.

 

There was no 10-8 rounds.

Unless your a nutthugger.

Then there were several and the fight ended up with Cotto getting knocked out.

Floyd dominated the 12th and 4th. Cotto had no dominate rounds. Round 8 his best round he took a bunch of hard rights and body shots.

Got to hand it to Cotto. Thought he'd quit and stop fighting like he did against Pacquiao and Margarito after the whooping he took in round 4. He kept fighting until he pretty much did quit fighting in rounds 10, 11 and 12.

Since when is Cotto a Hall of Fame fighter?
Is Cotto really comparable to a Duran, Leonard, Hearns , Hagler, Robinson or Pep? Not really.
If there weren't 4 different versions of "world" titles Cotto would be no more than an exciting contender.
I like Cotto, and I'm not disparaging him, but he's no Hall of Famer.
Mayweather could have fought a ligit All Time Great in Manny, but he chose to defame Pac's character instead of kicking his ass.

Man that's amazing because this fight looks anything but close throughout. How people say this was Floyds tougest fight is a joke.. Howa bout Jesus Chavez or Emmanel Augustus or even JMM regardless of how lopsided the score was Juan did permanent body damage to MOney that he still can't shake today. And Zab Judah gave Floyd much more trouble. I tend to wonder if some of you actually watch the fight. Cotto gave him a bloody nose and that's about it?

 

I gave rounds 6 and 8 to Cotto. Maybe round 7 as well but that's all Cotto got in my opinion. Floyd landed a lot more cleaner shots. Most of Cotto's power punches either slipped across Mayweather or partially landed.
