Since GGG-Chavez Jr won't happen why not Ward-GGG?

This fight makes perfect sense both are HBO fighters and GGG was going to fight at 168 anyway. The next fight for both men should be against each other. Thoughts?

That's not going to happen. First off, the Golovkin/Chavez Jr. fight is far from dead. Second, they're not about to have Golovkin fight Ward at this time. It's more dangerous and less lucrative than the Chavez fight.

I would love to see this fight. The GGG hype train crazy, and I think Ward would derail it.

They would be better off waiting for that big money fight at 160 if you look at the risk and money that Ward brings.

Why isnt the FRAUD fighting Kovalev or stevenson?

Stevenson vs ward would be good fight. Son of a ***** vs Son of a Boone.

GGG don't want no parts of Ward.

Ward would whip that ****** ass and the Bute hype train would be at the end of the line.

This thread is about Ward-GGG at 168 a weight that GGG was going to fight JCC Jr at but the fight seems to be dead. Ward has no current plans of moving to 175 is now available and this is a fight than can actually happen now.

To be honest, there is more incentive in Ward moving up to 175lbs, than GGG moving up to 168lbs.

GGG isn't a very big 160lbs'er, he also hasn't cleaned out the division, there is still lots to prove for him at 160.

Too soon for GGG in my opinion, too big a step up from previous opponents.

He isn't a very big 160 pounder but was willing to go up and face JCC Jr at 168 a guy who would dwarf him in the ring weighing as much as a CW and is bigger than Ward. If he can fight JCC Jr at 168 he can face Ward there to.

My bet is that Ward will move straight up to LHW and begin to fight his way into the unification mix-up.
If he does that, he is in the best position to take all four belts to be undisputed by 2015.

Because Chavez JR is a big money fight, everyone is targetting him at 160-168lbs, he's big bucks.

Ward is the same or more money as JCC Jr. and even better the Champ of the division.

You do not understand why golo jcc is gonna happen at 168?!
Golovkin is on a mission to be middleweight king. It is misfortunate he had to beat up former light middles and at this occasion jcc above middle to fullfill his goal.

Why would he take extremely dangerous 168 king on his way to become the middleweight king? The fuk is wrong with you.:think
