Since GGG-Chavez Jr won't happen why not Ward-GGG?

Bi-polar Bob Arum is trying to stick up Chavez by making him sign a 3 fight contract extension before he'll authorize the fight.

Chavez wants the fight but only a fight by fight contract with Bi-polar Bob.

It may get worked out with the fight still being on.:good

I am sure HBO will push for this as they don't have anyone for GGG to fight if a Chavezx fight can't be made. Maybe Martinez if he beats Cotto would be an option also.

HBO is definitely pushing for this. After losing Floyd, HBO basically went to their biggest partner (Arum) and told him to make PPV money. Why you think they paying Bradley so much and Bob outbid Canelo for Cotto? Which is why the fight isnt dead yet... Arum may well capitulate especially in the wake of disappointing PAC/Bradley numbers.

But by same token, Arum probably feeling squeezed by paying Manny and Timmeh so much for those numbers... plus snagging Cotto. So who knows.

 

That might be what Uncle Bob needs to make Jr change his mind and sign the contract.
