Not the real fans. The sport always comes before the boxer and a fight like that should eventually get made (among many others).
Truth is, GGG ain't hardly ready for p4p leader Ward. He is not even ready for Froch. I wish Kessler were around because Kessler would be a good test for GGG to see how he can handle a B level boxer. My thoughts are, he would lose to Kessler.
There are bigger paydays at 168 for Ward than there are at 175. Besides Kovalev who else is there for Ward to fight?
LOL. Everyone in SMW wants a piece of him. Froch wants him but is still working up the nerve. Grove wants him, but wants it in England where he'll have the refs and judges. AA recently said his dream is a rematch with Ward. Dirrell says he's making a come back and one of the fights he wants is Ward. GGG? He don't want none of that, and I can't blame him for not wanting to be stopped. Both Stevenson and Kovalev are afraid of him, but each has something that Ward wants. :yep
You are right, if Ward should ever meet GGG, he'll whip GGG's ****** ass back to MonkeyAssVille, Russia.
Stevenson has called out Ward live on HBO to fight him at 175 or even come down to 168, but Ward refused to even answer him. Plus, SOB Ward will only fight in his home town, with his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, etc. Chavez is a much bigger draw than Ward. If Golovkin fights Chavez, Chavez will probably weigh 200 lbs., while Golovkin willl still fight close to 160. Ward claims he can knock both Klitschkos out easily, a total mismatch, so why doesn't Ward fight Vladimir Klitschko? Ward will not do it, he knows better.............Let Ward come down to 160 lbs., then fight Golovkin in a neutral territory with neutral judges, referee, boxing commission, etc., but we all know Ward will only fight in his home town, so to hell with that crap...........plus, Ward lost to Goosen in court again, but is still tied up in court, so why wait a million years for Ward to get out of court? Let Ward play lawyer while everyone else boxes...........
GGG has never been down in the pros or amateurs. Ward may beat GGG on points, but stop him? That's a guaranteed losing bet. Stevenson called out Ward at 168 and I believe Ward was quiet as a mouse, so I'm not so sure about Stevenson fearing Ward.
LOL. None of these count as legit fight options. Ward's ego is too big for him to accept to be B-side in England to make the most money possible, the same way Martinez is being Cotto's B-side. AA is retiring soon and Sauerland is most likely not interested in getting Abraham or even Kessler another loss in the US. Ward won't go to Germany for the same reason he won't go to the UK. Dirrell says what?! Doesn't matter. Dirrell doesn't have ONE ounce of credibility left. :yep
What part of Froch not interested in Wards rematch even in England don't you people understand? This has nothing to do with Ward's ego. Its like you're trying to convince yourself that Ward is afraid of a Frock rematch. If Froch Camp offer ward an adequate payday, Ward will have no problem going to England to kick his ass again. Seriously stop letting Froch fool you. He and and his trainer knows that they can't beat Ward and sure are not interested in rematching him.
Disregarding interviews where Froch is simply not going to divulge loads of business details, when was it that A) Froch & Ward didn't have a fight scheduled and could have negotiated, and B) Ward was not stuck in court where he has no ability whatsoever to get a fight, happened?
GGG is gonna get Chavez Jr. and the winner of (Strum vs. Soliman) vs. (Geale vs. Macklin). Ward is going to get the winner of Froch vs. Groves. Ward vs. Kovalev would be pretty cool though.
