According to Wards trainer, Froch camp never contacted them about a rematch. Never even made any kind of offer. They threw Wards name in the media to protect Froch warrior reputation. Seriously Froch is not interested in a Ward rematch and he shouldn't be because he's old and getting payed handsomely while fighting less talented fighters. Fighting Ward is a guaranteed loss on his record and step back to his career. If what I'm saying is false please provide evidence to prof Froch and his camp trying to get rematch with Ward.
:patschWhy the fock will will Ward be afraid of a slow one dimensional robot like Froch that he already dusted. If Froch ever musters the guts to get into the ring with Ward again, watch him get gattied by Ward. Dude you need to get real and stop wasting my time.

Well, typically the champ makes the offer. There are exceptions.. but when has Wards camp sent an offer to Froch? It works both ways.

 Really the champ typically makes an offer to someone one he already defeated? You see that right there destroys the whole argument of Ward Docking Froch. Shouldn't it be Froch's responsiblity to seek a rematch since he's the one that lost to Ward. Look dude you need to stop bullshitting me, I'm not some newbie to the sports. Why would Ward make an offer to someone he already defeated? Maybe Wladmir Klitschko should also make an offer to David Haye . Again show evidence of an offer made by Froch camp for Ward to fight him in England or stop wasting my time.

He would make the offer because he wanted the money fight. Since the champ, and certainly Ward in this case sets the terms... yeah, the champ makes the offer. That doesnt mean it always happens that way, and a challenger can certainly float an offer -but most typically the challenger indicated interest and the champs team decides on basic terms and makes offer to challenger, and then if there is mutual interest both sides haggle.

You are just proving you dont know anything about how the business side works.

The fact is, you cant refuse to make offers to challengers as a champ - then sit back and whine about people "ducking" you and expect anyone other than your hard core fans to take you even a little bit seriously.

Now - in Wards case this dynamic is complicated by his relationship with his promoter - which is something else you have failed to contemplate. The fact that Goosen has always been pretty lazy about making fights for Ward and hasnt chased money fights like Froch II probably is a large part of why Ward wants out. Ward cant make the call himself, and Goosen keeps Ward's management out of the HBO meetings where potential fight offers and purses are discussed. So Wards failure to pursue the Froch II fight probably does not lie with Ward himself, but rather his promoter.

However the point still stands, that there is no reason to say anything about Froch or his desire or lack thereof , let alone "fear" of fighting Ward again. Hearn is busy making stadium calibre fights in the UK while Ward has been out with injuries and lawsuits. To say Froch is somehow ducking Ward is just silly.

Did you say that I don't know anything about the business side of boxing? I assume you think you do. Why stop at Froch, maybe Ward should also make an offer to Kessler and 20 something other opponent he defeated. You're beyond ******ed, and I feel like me going any further with this conversation with you will be a waste of time on my part. **** off.

The GGG-JCC Jr fight is off this fight needs to be made next. No good reason why it shouldn't be.

Why aren't people demanding this fight? GGG-JCC Jr isn't happening. Both are free and both are with HBO. Funny anytime I mention Ward's name people go silent.

Way to make a case :lol:

You think a guy who has no fights, and does not want to move up, should not make offers or pursue fight with people they beat. But its the rest of the worlds fault they have no fights?

Yeah, name calling by someone of your caliber just cuts to the bone. the bone, I say :hat

I have seen at least a half dozen threads with this discussed, most of the discussion re: Ward/GGG started by you. How do you quantify this as silence?

K2 isnt really interested in making it. Goosen is not interested in making it (Goosen, not Ward mind you) and HBO isnt really interested in making it. Most of the boxing media doesnt want it.

I want the fight just like you, its a hopeless cause for now though.

P4P#3 Martinez made only $1.5M against undefeated Chavez Jr while unknown Rodriguez had $1M purse against Ward.

What do you think of the statement "anyone from 154 to 168"?

    I was wrong about this.

Ward's recent interview says he will not move to LHW and that he will stay at SMW.
So, fights with Kovalev, Stevenson, Shumenov, BHOP are out at LHW.
Too bad, I think taht would be where the real fights for Ward are, but obviously LHW is too much weight for Ward to carry at this point.

But he's good enough for that jump in weight. That's what I don't understand about him.

I have no idea why HBO wouldn't want it? Ward isn't going to become a bigger draw and GGG is hot right now. The time for this fight is now or in the very next fight.

I don't think Kovalev is necessarily a big money fight for Ward. Certainly, Stevenson Ward is a bigger fight..
