Since it's okay to feast on the Chisora's of the world to pad your resume, (BECAUSE WE LOVE DEREK SING IT WITH ME!!!! OOOOOH DEREK CHISORA!!!!),

Post the most undeserving fighters who got a shot at a championship title!
    More losses the better

Did Derek get a free burger afterwards like the Usyk fight. I didn't watch it? Was he treated to a Christmas roast with the Fury family?

Id like to nominate Eddie Croft.

In 2003 Croft fought for the wbc featherweight title against erik morales. Lets look at how Croft was doing to get a title shot

    1) hadnt fought in almost 3 years

    2) before getting this title fight he had lost his last 3 fights, all by KO

    3) his last win was 5 years previously, a split decision in 8 rounds over a 7-8 fighter

    4) his last win before that was 8 years before this title shot against Morales

Whyte brutally KOd by Povetkin,Povetkin should have then been the WBC mandatory to fight Fury but Povetkin was tied into a Re Matchroom contract and had to beat Whyte a second time before he could move on but sadly a COVID addled Povetkin was unable to do so in the rematch .

AJ & Usyk had a chance to fight Fury in December

    Both turned it down

Now Frank is trying to bring Joyce fully into the picture as he deserves...although Joyce's profile is sadly still small and dirty casuals don't respect him.

Wow, I had not known about this before. Crazy stuff. Below is a link to an interview with Eddie Croft. About 2/3 of the way down the page he goes into some detail about how the fight came to be.
