Cherry pick Andrade? Despite his bad career moves, Andrade is arguably the best fighter at 154! Certainly top 5, and isnt a "cherry pick" for anyone
I for one don't give rounds to someone running for their life. It's ok to box, but you have to fight some to. Otherwise you are just stealing the fans money because nobody pays to watch that bull****.
I definitely give rounds and the win to Lara for landing over 100 clean head shots on Canelo while Alvarez only landed what, 80 body punches? The GBP fix was in, but that's the way boxing goes.
You mean little baby jabs to the head while running away? Thank Darwin they didn't reward him for that **** fest. More judges should take note so we are rid of people who try to steal the fans money.
Post fight, Canelo's face showed the after effects of those little baby jabs. :yep I forget how many head shots Alvarez actually scored that night, but 18-22 seems to stick in my head. 110 head shots to 20, at best. Alvarez doesn't know how to cut the ring off, and Cotto will definitely make use of that weakness. :smoke
Maybe he will. I know one thing, Cotto will come to fight while Lara whacks it at home wondering why nobody will pay to watch him do it.
Lara knows exactly why boxers are hesitant to fight him. They don't want to look like B-level fighters like Alvarez did. IMHO, Lara moved a little too much during that fight and that's what cost him the decision. Had he stayed in the pocket just a little more the decision would have went his way. I think he has learned from this mistake and I'm hoping to see an improved Lara in his next bout.
lol this thread. F'in Vanes boxed him up, molina beat him and made him one dimensional, caveman angulo took him life and death, Canelo made him an embarrassment. Nobody fears Lara. Who exactly is ducking him at 154 lol???
You serious? He was on his bicycle for most of the fight so don't understand this at all. That's not how you win fights...
