Leonard and Hearns weren`t at the other guys mentioned levels when they fought at super middle, Hearns was better in two of his light heavyweight fights ironically, against Hill his legs looked stronger and his guard was higher against Andries in `87 his body was more cut than when he fought at super middle and he was younger he and Ray had slowed down enough for the above guys to beat them by that stage of their careers.

This division is still young 30 yrs. At the moment RJJ have the best
chance. Andre Ward prime was at SMW not like LHW where he fought
Kovalev and that includes a 20 month layoff.

I think the sheer awkwardness and courage of Chris Eubank would give Ward a tough fight.

168 pound RJJ has better than “the best chance.” He destroys Ward.

Ward might lose a few, but he would have a good chance against anyone who competed at 168. He's a tough draw for anyone, including Roy.

A few guys would give him big trouble, but Jones would be my only confident pick to beat Ward, and I would fancy Jones to well beat him.

The attrition and wear and tear factor rears its head for defeats. If he was facing top notch competition and facing 3 or 4 of the top names, he loses. Lots of soft touches on that opponent list of his. and fighting top caliber guys subtracts from his reflexes & accelerates the deterioration. And w/o top notch reflexes what do you really have?
