    what style beats Wlads style.

Wlad is better than all other fighters at the moment. But his style is essentially that of a long range straight hitter who jabs and grabs when in trouble. It is almost invariable that he will have a reach advantage against his opponent. His chin is definitel a little questionable.

At the moment, barring a bad performance no one really is in his league. But if we could manufacture a fighter who is almost as skilful , strong and quick as wlad, what would the best style for that fighter to use in order to beat Wlad. This shouldnt be too hard since styles make fight, so what style does everyone think beats Wlad.

Is it the Jab and Grab, emulating Wlad, Should the fighter bob and weave like Frazier, Should he pot shot like David Haye, would a Gene Tunney straight punchin style work. Would it take a Jack Johnson wrestling and counterpunching style be required, or a Sandy Saddler style rough and bruising fight , maybe a super fit training regime, an extremely high work rate, a power lifting strength trained fighter. Is there a consensus even?

Sanders is always a tough match due to Wlad's placement of his right hand. That straight left hand is going to work and he is tall enough himself w/ a long reach so that he doesn't fall in or telegraph it.

Overall, I think Wlad is murder on boxers and maybe 50-50 or 33-67 against the top aggressive hitters. It'll take tools to beat him and a guy needs a concrete set of whiskers or a not easy to solve defense.

Pressure, put him on his back foot. He cant fight in close and he cant fight well backwards, so you have to make him move back so he cant grab you and tie up. I think attacking in angles so he cant set himself to tie you up or nail you coming in is the best way.
Wlad is very good with the intial counter whether its a quick jab or hook so thats when hes the most dangerous when your moving in to attack him, because he has very quick hands, but after that initial shot, hes not very effective other than trying to tie you up and lean on you, so you have to use speed, feints, and attack in the angles with combinations to avoid his attempt to catch you coming in. You gotta make it rough, wrestle, push him put punches together and avoid letting him lean on you. Wlad becomes mentally winded and tired in that type of scenario quickly, so you really have to be aggressive and calculated when you fight him.

Only current fighter that comes close to that is chisora but he isnt elusive enough not to get hit with bombs while coming in.

I'd say Tyson's style would be the kryptonite for Wlad. IMO anyway.

Joe Frazier's style of putting pressure on him all the time, even Frazier said himself somebody needs to get on the inside and stay there with the Klitschko's. And i believe a guy like Liston would win just because of his punching power boxing skills and great chin and not to mention his 84 inch reach to Wlads 81 inch reach. I know this is about styles but i believe Liston as a person was perfect to beat Wlad.
