Since their 2nd fight, Canelo has created a better resume than all of Triple G's career combined

I respectfully disagree. That 2nd Canelo fight was brutal on GGG, took years out of his career and it showed on his performances after the bout. Although GGG threw a lot of jabs which won him some rounds, those body shots by Canelo did the most significant damage. He got beat up pretty badly by glorified journeyman Derevyanchenko and has just been stalling his career even more waiting for Canelo to beat him up again for a final payday rather than have another up and comer get a chance to beat him up.

Yes agreed. I like GGG but he took the shameful route fighting bums after the fights with Canelo. Ducked Andrade and any decent contender

I mean it's also age though, the fight was Brutal, it was 2018 fight of the year and obviously a 36 year old would come out of it worse than a 28 year old... It also wasnt just jabs that won him some rounds, GGG threw shots on Canelo in the 10th, 11th and 12th that would have decapitated any one else... Canelo was getting stunned and his knees were buckling at times....

yeah but GGG beat Canelo twice, so steroid boy would never have that career if the judges weren't in his pocket

The more Canelo wins the more GGG resume shines.

What? You must mean Canelo's 40 fights against bums, cans and old men? Then losing to 36yo Mayweather, getting 8-4'd by Lara, then marginally nicking the right against Trout. Lmao Canelo fans man. So utterly stupid and naive

It's such a shame that the stain of those decisions in Vegas is always going to hang over what's otherwise a very fine resume.

Canelo has done absolute f all since GGG. He's literally fixed the majority of his fights since. Kovalev, Yildrim, Smith, Plant are all fixes. If anyone can't see at least Kovalev and Yildrim being blatant fixes then I'm sorry but you're stupid. His win against BJS means nothing if you take into account valid context. BJS hadn't had a world level fight since 2017 against Lemieux (3 - 4 years before the Clen fight lmao) , and said himself he was rusty the fight before Clen against shot ghost of Martin Murray.

Drained Jacobs was his best win after GGG. And even then Jacobs gave away half fight and later robbed a limited Rosado.

Canelo hasn't got better since GGG. He's got worse. Looping, telegraphed punches, plodding forward with zero movement.

So funny how people who realize that they cannot deny the fact that the OP states try to redirect the conversation to nomatter what.

Gigi's resume is laughable. And even his best 2 victories are 1 a blatant robbery (derevyanchenko) and the other one (jacob) was so freaking close that any decent champion would have fought a rematch.

"But... but... but in my head gigi won to canelo. thrice."

Ok man, nobody cares about that imaginary world in your head.

EDIT: and I'm not saying gigi is a bum. Gigi is a freaking hell of fighter, one of the best. Double reason to be angry. A fighter like him is ****ing supposed to have a decent resume and to rematch dubious victories to make things clear.

You can say that I'm a gigi hater. You wouldnt be right, you woundnt be very wrong, but the reason I kind of hate him is because he decided to be 10% of the fighter he could have been. I see his talent, I see his career, and I automatically get angry. Disgusting.

Dude in the first fight GGG lost all the championship rounds and lost the majority of the early rounds only thing GGG showed was a better gas tank in fight 2 GGg was getting his ass whooped I know y’all live in this fantasy where GGG jab is this devastating punch but it’s not dude got his ass beat..

mans beyond that Canelo at 154 and below is also better than GGG entire career

It's obvious you hate GGG and are recalling the fight in a biased manner to fit your agenda.

Saunders was a good high level win. Plant was so-so. The rest were garbage or stacked decks.

Derevyanchenko, whom Canelo outright ducked, is easily as good as Saunders.
