Since Vitali's comeback who do you think has put up the best fight against him?

    Solis

    Briggs

    Sosnowski

    'Kingpin'

    Arreola

    Juan Carlos Gomez

    Peter

Ironically I would go with Albert Sosnowski who was probably the lowest ranked of the contenders to challenge Vitali. He sure did put in a brave performance right until the end, forcing the fight when ever he could. This is why I am so what surprised by how Adamek is being completely written off. Sosnowski is similar in style to Adamek but of course is a poor mans version. I could see Adanek vs Vitali possibly being the best heavyweight fight of the year.

Sosnowski was crucified for being given a chance to fight Vitali. I will say he impressed me by not being a big ***** and was one of the very few fighters whom fought a Klit and actually wanted to win. Johnson lost the fight before he stepped in the ring. I don't think he landed 1 meaningful punch.

Vitali won all fights extremely easy, I think if you watch all the fights he has only lost 2/3 rounds since coming back, pretty sick.
He didnt look good vs sosnowski but still stopped him easily late on. Adamek will have to be faster than vitali in order to beat him, he struggles with grant and mcbride, well not struggled but he didnt win easily either, and thats just because they are big guys, vitali is a big guy and 100x more skilled than those 2 guys, he will never get stopped by adamek so adameks only chance is to win a decision, vitali rarely gives up a round and adamek brave as he is doesnt have an advantage over him, to me the only question is if vitali stops him or adamek goes the distance, In the end vitali gets his hand raised.

Agreed. Also, Vitali doesn't seem to get discouraged either. I mean Adamek's chin is up there with the best of all time, yes I said that. You need a gun to put that guy down. I see Adamek haveing his moments but Klitschko prevailing. Only way to stop Adamek is to put him out cold, which probably isn't possible.

Don't be fooled. VITALI CARRIED SOSNOWSKI for 10 rounds. HE LET ALBERT LIVE SO LONG TO give fans a SHOW. First clean-ish punch that landed put the Pole out for good.

Kingpin definitely did the best against Don Vito. He got embarrassed but not hurt.

Thats interesting because I think vitali will be looking for the stoppage, I guess a towell coming in or the ref jumping in are possibilities to stop adamek, also vitali's power has decreased over the years that way he has a high workrate which is basically worse for the opponent because instead of getting stopped in 5 he is punishing you for 12 rounds, he also seems to enjoy it look how he fought vs briggs there wasnt no pacquiao like sympathy that he had for margarito and slowed down the last 2 rounds, he just kept coming at the same pace for 12 rounds and gave briggs a terrible beating, since nobody was stopping it briggs ended up in the hospital looking like a dead man.

I went with Sosnowski as well. He and Arreola at least came to fight. Gomez gave him a little trouble in the 1st 2 rounds but nothing after that. Johnson survived cause he didn't attempt to engage in a boxing match or try to win. Briggs and Peter just got smashed, along with Arreola. And Solis didn't last long enough to to get a real result. Even though I see him getting KO.

Solis was doing the best. Had Vitali all befuddled in round 1...too bad Solis broke his ankle. That fairy punch vitali landed had nothing to do with Solis losing. I would have loved to seen how solis-vitali would have turned out if not for the fluke injury.

    Overall,

Vitali has been feasting on 2nd tier opposition. Adamek is the first A level fighter Vitali has faced in his comeback besides an out of shape Sam Peter. Let's see how he does.

While Briggs and Sosnowski were lower level and voluntary( Briggs being picked for the promotional thing with 1st Rd KOs and total amount along with Vitali). Arreola(Mandatory??) was rated and undefeated, Gomez was mandatory and ranked and I'm not sure about Johnson.

Gomez won a couple of rounds so he did best in that sense. Sosnowski and Arreola tried hardest, Solis probably made Vitali look the worst but the fight was so short it was inconclusive really. Johnson put up no fight at all but escaped unhurt because of his negative tactics, Peter and Briggs were punchbags for the duration of the fight but did try to win at least.

    this...^

I'd say Arreola made him work the most, eventhough Vitali throughly outclassed him...

Gomez was a bit tricky at first and maybe won a few round, but as always VK figured him out and KO'd him...
