Since when calling a smaller guy to fight at your weight is acceptable?

    I agree, it is generally easier to go up in weight than to come down also. Nothing wrong with Ward asking Golovkin to come up to 168, but if Golovkin passes on it, it isn't a duck.

    Its kind of acceptable if your staying at that weight but if you can't make that weight anymore and are moving up its a bit ridiculous

    Its kinda like Walters calling out rigo even though he can't even do fewatherwieght anymore

    Or canelo calling out Tim Bradley even though his now at middleweight

    GGG was the one calling out anybody at 168 so Ward called him out and called his bluff. Whether Ward knew GGG would duck and knew he wouldn't fight him is a separate issue. It would have been the type of fight that would make GGG considered to be the true #1 P4P star if he was to win. I'm not going to call GGG an absolute disgrace to humanity for ducking Ward, that would be childish.
