well ur a dum **** then as his manager.. and most of his early sponsors were irish...and he has also fought in ireland on several occassions... if u dont no tat u dont watch boxing very much then ...do yea:good
Maybe he has and that is fair enough i just didnt know that!! But he hasnt making a pure ****ing song and dance about it that know of since the Sturm fight. I was just asking a question. Idont give a **** what the **** he wants to be was just curious.
So I suggest that if you've never heard of macklins 'Irish Heritage' before the sturm fight then you probably shouldn't post on a boxing website as most fans have little time or tolerance for ignorance....slide on bigot boy!
**** off ya rotten little rat!!! Ricky Burns has fought several times in England but that doesnt make him want to pretend he is English does it ya dick. Again it was just a question that came to my head when i saw him exploite paddys day.
considering i dont live in britain[ check ur geography u thick dopey ****head] then i would hardly b self hating... and as 4 macklin could u ever consider tat he might not have anything against britain but simply considers himself 2 b irish as tats werte his heart lies:good [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlbCcmAidlY[/ame]
Listen buddy i will put in simple terms for you ok. As far as i was aware he was BORN and RAISED in England and when started out was proud to be from Birmingham. I was aware he had "Irish Heritage" but untill that fight in Germany he never booted the balls out it OK! It would be the same if some American watched Braveheart then discovered that his great, great uncles step fathers mistress ****ed some **** from Dumbarton and then pretended to be a Highlander. It has nothing to do with nationality just exploitation. Ok sweetheart xxx
Mate I'm as Irish as they come (great great grandfather straight off the ferry from Kilkenny), if Macklin wants to embrace his heritage then we should accept that if you ask me. And on St Patty's Day too! Och aye the guinness, as they say!!
there is a reason why ricky [ the celtic fan:yep] fought in england and its pure economics... whereas macklin had no reason 2 fite in ireland except that he considers it his homeland u thick orange *******... now is ur question answerd ... r do u want 2 provoke more people with this pointless debate:good
Eh...... because the more i think about it he quite clearly is. Was he bigging up his Irish roots when he won his other titles?
