We all saw it, at the end of round 3 Cleverly was out on his feet and the referee held him up and carried him to his corner, what was that about?? :huh
Makes British boxing look bad and could have put Cleverly's health in danger :patsch

Compare it to this if you haven't seen it

Nothing can make British boxing look worse than it already is really. Anyone half sane knows that fights in England will favor the local fighter in shameless fashion.

Still carrying on this bull****? Bunch of whiney bitches on this forum. It happens everywhere, you think Germany is any different? The biggest joke fights I've ever seen were in the US, doesn't get any more corrupt.

Because the majority of the fights takes place in the US and the more fights you have the higher the chances of controversial results. It doesn't require you to actually be mentally competent to realize this by yourself. As far as Germany is concerned, sure they have their share but surely not close and will never be to England.

I watch equal amount of fights between UK and US, surely you have to be mentally competent to realise this. I think your lack of mental capacity is telling here, you see only the highlighted fights from the UK and more from elsewhere. But i guess i was expecting too much from this forum for other members to employ critical thought.

I was responding to the insinuation that the UK is some kind of overly biased boxing scene. Not what the ref did last night. Not hard to gather. Why so sensitive?

If you were mentally capable you wouldn't compare fights happening in the US with the UK. How often do foreign fighters travel to headline boxing events in the UK compared to the US?.

It is a little worrying how our referees carry on at times; that smacked a little too much of 'giving him every chance'.

Clev was gone and the fight was waved off, until the bell rang. Its because Clev is FW's biggest name and the ref was emplyed by him as the promoter on the night. Big loss for FW and a big win for matchroom and Hearn.

Yanktard land is corrupt from top to bottom, why the fvck should their boxing be any different?

There have never been refs and judges as blatantly crooked as Cortez, Nady, Williams, and most of the nevada officials, anywhere else in the world.

And we won't even bother talking about steroid abuse that gets swept under the carpet as in the Roid Jones case.

So all in all if a Yank starts bleating about corrupt officials from other countries, just laugh at the ******.

As bad as it was, did you see Lucian Bute vs. Librado Andrade?

Marlon Wright basically woke Lucy Anne up after getting knocked out, ran over to scream at Librado for punching the hometown son, then proceeded to count to twentyfive, and saved Lucy Anne.
Marlon Wright and Terry O'Connor should both be banned from refereeing fights.
