Im thinking of fights that were changed with single punches in recent memory. Zoo's right hand against Judah was a thing of beauty, perfect timing, and completely change the complexion of the fight which I though Judah was well on his way to winning.
Not to pick on Zab, but Baldomir's right on Zab changed the whole fight. Also Frank Bruno vs. Lennox comes to mind. I was certain Bruno was going to go on to win that fight.
Great picks, the Botha one was the one of the best hooks Tyson ever through. I would have to go with Big Georges right hand against Moorer.
Well obviously there's one shot KOs like Rahman-Lewis I, McCallum-Curry, Weaver-Tate, Marciano-Walcott I, Jackson-Graham, etc... As far as momentum changers, Tito changed things in the middle of his fights with Reid and Vargas. Reid was doing well in the first half of the fight, ahead on the cards, but after that left hook, Reid was never the same and got his ass beat after that. Vargas had dropped Tito in round 4 and dominated round 5, but when Tito was able to get Vargas near the ropes and catch him with a nice right hand, the momentum went back in his favor.
Douglas landed that massive uppercut on Tyson, it was the prelude to the final combination that doomed Mike..:bbbit was such a powerful uppercut it looked as thou Mike's neck snapped..
Don't know about the KT one. He only just missed with exactly the same punch about 2 seconds before that. I think Kostya took about 3 minutes to work out Zab. It was going to end up with Zab splattered all over the canvas one way or another. Lewis v Bruno is a good one. I thought Bruno was going to win - no let me rephrase that - I thought Bruno was going to be ahead by the tenth, and then may hang on as his body ground to a halt like always... Foreman v Moorer Jimmy Thunder v Crawford Grimsley
Diegos left hook (i think it was a left hook!) while on the ropes against Castillo, that put JLC on chicken dance alley! and all before that diego was getting smashed
