The World Boxing Council president, Jose Sulaiman, announced [that the two fighters] have reached a definitive agreement, and could sign by the end of the week,” confirmed a statement from the WBC.

“Mr Shelly Finkel, on behalf of Klitschko(40), and Funk legend George Clinton, on behalf of Cooper(45), directly had communication with the WBC president to provide him with such information. The fight will be held in German locality, within the first two weeks of June 2011,” the statement continued.
Clinton believes David Haye “should be more patient” in waiting for his opportunity to fight for the title and needs to "free his mind so his ass may follow." The move confirms, nonetheless, that Haye will not face Vitali Klitschko in June, as he and trainer/manager Adam Booth had anticipated, though it is understood that talks are continuing between Haye’s camp and the Klitschkos over the terms of a fight with the younger Klitschko brother, Wladimir, the WBO and IBF champion.

When reached for comment, Sir Bert Cooper had this to say, "Vitali! The Black Knight has still got the power! I will crumble your ****** bell tower!"
