First i thought about Cooper vs AJ or Bugner, but for some reasons i would like to match him with Whyte instead.

Yes Cooper was small and light for a HW, but his left hook was deadly, just watch how he dropped Ali and many others.

Whyte has size and weight advantage, but what would happen if Cooper catches him with his left hook?

Cooper has a jab as well as a hook, and better boxing skills.
He could be KO'd or cut though, and he was about 60 pounds lighter than Whyte (though I'm not sure how much that would be a disadvantage .... if Cooper can last a few rounds his light body weight could be an advantage).

Whytes weight advantage is mostly flab.i dont think our 'Enery is gonna be doing a waltz with him ....instead he"ll tie him up in a windsor knot inside and smash him with our "enery"s hammer on his loaf of bread. There wont be any quarter given ere.

Whether you wanna Adam and Eve it Whyte will go down like a sack of potatoes and land on his khyber pass (arse) he"ll need to be helped up the apple and pears( stairs) for a week or so as he convalesces... poor sod. Our "Enery will thank the baked bean (Queen) and spend his week playing the old joanna (piano) in the blind beggar pub in celebration. He may even have a ruby Murray with whyte afterwards show theres no hard feelin"s. He was a good egg our "Enery.

Cooper as an old man wasnt bothered by the size of a 6ft 4 235 lbs lean fit fast and sturdyJoe Bugner...i dont think 30 lbs extra flab bothers our "Enery

Oh wow cooper is overrated on this forum, he had a good left hand but people on here make it seem like he beats everyone because of that. Tommy Morrison had a better left hook and also wasn’t durable, should we start overrating him to?

Well incidentally there are people here who pick Morrison to beat Joe Louis and act like it's such an obvious match up.

As I’ve said on here before, sometimes size does matter.
Cooper is the better schooled fighter, but at world level his chin wasn’t the best.
Fair enough it was top fighters of the day who knocked him out like Patterson, Johansson and Folley, but then again so did Joe Bygraves.
Whyte is simply too big he would catch Henry at some point and knock him out, probably within 5 rounds.

People think that? Horrible match up, any precise power puncher shouldn’t have much of a problem knocking Tommy out

I think Whyte would be too big and too strong for Cooper who lost to some pretty average heavies.

A big contributory factor in Cooper's stoppage loss to Bygraves was his weight,he came too heavy at196lbs ,a big left hook to the belly which floored him and when he got up he was stopped by another hook, but he was effectively done by the body shot.
Cooper is overated Whyte would walk through him in 5/6 rds

Talk of Cooper holding his own with Bugner is very misleading,Bugner was just 21 years old and 212lbs for that fight .Whyte is 30lbs heavier than that version of Bugner, and Joe was never a banger like Whyte.
