look, i like Joe, seems like a really cool modest dude....but he never fought anyone of note other than Lacy,Kessler, OLD Eubank, and ANCIENT BHop and Jones Jr
Mostly fought Bruno Sanbot caliber guys.
the one rematch he has is against Mario Veit...seriously?

 

Veit has a better resume than most of the current top 10.
Calzaghe had to fight Veit or be stripped and Veit was also a winner of some world title fights.
Even now a Veit victim is a reigning world champ and top 5 fighter.

Now lets not forget Mitchell the 2 time SMW champ who also has a greater resume than many of the current top 10,

Then all of the other top 10 fighters Calzaghe beat, as well as fighters like Sheika who were beating fighters like prime G Johnson.

Out of Calzaghes 24 world title fights 17 were or became top 10 rated. Thats not including fighters he beat who had not long exited the top 10 :hi:

 

no one forgets how Byron was stopped by Joe's ref for slipping but joe got a free pass for getting floored seconds earlier.

that's basically joes level - just below a failed NABF title challenger.
