Trying to fight to please "fans" like that is a pointless endeavor in the long run. They'll just keep moving the goalposts. We see it every time when the people who make the biggest fuss about a loss turn around and rip the rematch as worthless once it looks set.

The Siri rematch was nice as a stay-busy option in my book, but ultimately, isn't necessary in the slightest. Loma needs to keep moving forward, no point continually getting jerked around.

What is your source? Salido's manager said Salido was offered less than Martinez was paid to fight Loma. So somewhere in the range of 400K.

Loma beats Salido in the rematch. It's that simple. No need for it. The only ones asking for it are the Loma haters. A loss won't tarnish your resume. Look at Pac, ODLH, SRL, SRR etc.

It must be frustrating for Loma not to find any opponents at 130lbs. If Davis, as the rumors say, is going to fight Salido on the Mayweather/McGregor fiasco fight, then Davis is running scared of Loma. You have time to negotiate with Salido but not with Lomachencko? That fight can be made to start unifying 130lbs. But I guess as someone mentioned earlier, TMT will use it as "Davis beat the man that beat Lomachencko" as an excuse not to fight Lomachencko.

Dan Rafael. I think he was probably offered that originally. Hence why Loma in a video said on ESNEWS that they'll offer Salido $200k.

One of the most upsetting things about a Salido-Gervonta match is that on a huge PPV card, they're going to get away with making out that Lomachenko 'isn't that good because he lost to Salido', yet Gervonta the scared little fat boy knows the truth.
Salido should just man up and rematch Loma.

I hope Loma agrees to fight Rigondeaux if this is the case. This is the only way to make a better chess move from here.

He should fight Rigo. The Salido rematch is a waste of time. There's more demand and more interest in the Rigo fight. Its better for his legacy if he fights and beats Rigo.

I honestly want Lomachenko to move on from Salido now & focus on big names & champions. Rigo, Linares, LSC, Frampton, Garcia, Corrales, Berchelt, Valdez, Davis, Flanagan, Easter, Shafikov... Why waste time on a time & war faded Salido?

Loma needs to call out all champions now from 130 AND 135 and make these his weight classes. When he's starting to turn past prime, he should stay at 130.

Rigo ducked Loma but I want to see if it is still possible.
    Linares is a good fight.
LSC will shamelessly duck Loma like he did before
Frampton claims he'd fight Loma even though he said 'hand on heart, I don't think I'd beat him - only at welterweight can someone beat him'
Garcia can get it, he's a warrior
Corrales declined the fight after Loma lowballed him disgracefully
Berchelt - I don't know if he'd fight him or not, he was calling him out before the Vargas win, though
Valdez - will avoid him, Arum doesn't want that happening
Davis - is a duck artist POS and will try to catch Loma past prime
Flanagan - will fight Loma but it's such a waste of prime, Flanagan is mediocre, now he needs to get past Verdejo
Easter - will fight Loma - that'd be a fun fight to watch because of the natural size difference and natural dimensions difference
Shafikov - needs to get past Easter.

If Salido really is about to agree with Gervonta, Loma should say 'you can have more money because you defeated me, I'll make the purse 50-50 or 55-45 in my favour and you can earn a lot' because Gervonta could actually STOP Salido and the rematch would be quite futile and Loma will always hear 'Salido beat you doee'.

After that fight, Loma should make his primary focus 135 even though it's notably beyond his prime weight class of 126. The only way people will fight him is if he was dwarfed at the weight.

Why can't Lomo throw all this money Rigo? He said he's ready to go now.
