It happened last week. No footage of the bout exists anywhere online, but it happened. Here is the link on boxrec. https://boxrec.com/en/event/928009 Pretty awesome. It will take a long time until someone else manages to do it. I think Iamthuam is the first Thai fighter to achieve 100 wins. Please correct me if I'm wrong. If you go on his boxrec profile, his record consists of two pages, which is something you would see with fighters from the past. From flyweight to cruiserweight. Bit of a modern day Carpentier.
Interesting, do you know any HW can-crushers with insane W/L ratios or win counts that only fight taxi drivers? Genuinely curious about the underground scene for that stuff
His bout against Tatsuyoshi (from 1997!) is one of my favourites of all time. Joichiro changed this man's trajectory with that war. That was at 118lbs
Very cool. I've got to think there is someone else since then but the last guy I remember reaching 100 wins is Luis Ramon "Yory Boy" Campos. He reached 100 in 2012 and finished with 108.
People forget this guy won a pair of titles under 126 pounds or whatever it was, I would say he’s had a really awesome career when you think about it.
