    Usyk built himself up to 220+ with modern weight training techniques. If he fought in HW pre-90's he'd be in the low 200s likely.

    Michael Spinks bulked in the 80s with “modern” methods.

    I do not know if Joshua would have been able to bomb him out, if he tried bull rushing him he may have gassed sooner & gotten knocked out.

    Like Holyfield before him, Usyk may be quicker & had a higher work-rate.
    Although with all the punches he just threw, I dunno that it was a big difference.

    But like Holyfield against Tyson, they likely needed the extra weight strength & muscle to handle guys naturally stronger.
    And in the former case, he needed PEDs.

    I don't have him in the all-time-great top twenty list, neither by greatness nor head-to-head.

    But he is a top five heavyweight of the twenty-first century so far.

    And that's a pretty lofty position for AJ to hold.

    He has done well for a guy who is not a natural fighter at heart.
