...I'm prepared to eat my crow if wrong.. but Chaegav is gonna be rusty and is coming back from career threatening health problems. Skelton isn't talented, but he's a dirty ass, tough and plodding brawler. I see him KO'ing a rusty Chaegav.
There's a gulf in class here. But I did wonder about this match - on the one hand I thought "here's a chance for him to fight in Europe" but you do wonder if he isn't done and looking for the weakest chalenger going. Either way though, there is still that gulf in class. I think Chagaev will stop Skelton personally. Chagaev would have to be in pretty serious nick before a limited mauler like Skelton would get him.
Chaegav ain't ****.. he barely beat Ruiz, squeaked by Virchis, and barely beat Valuev. There resumes ain't that different honestly.
I felt he beat Valuev clearly, something like 8-4. Skelton is worse than those 3 you named and he's getting older, Chagaev will win this.
Chagaev trains for this fight since the end of September...so I don't think he will be that rusty anyway...
Chagaev should win by late round knockout or by decision, if Skelton would happen to win, it just shows how bad the Heavyweight division truly is IMO.
chagaev to outbox and wear skelton down for an 8 round ko win. chagaev is a skillfull fighter underestimated in world boxing because he fights out of europe.
So skillful that he struggled against some of the worst skilled of the top heavies in Valuev, Ruiz and Virchis.
