    Interesting one. People thought Davis was more skilled by far, but at the end of the day it was Watt perfectly timing sliding back a few inches to nullify the effects of Howard's flashy combos.

    Funny you should mention Jim Watt - I was thinking of Watt's fight with Buchanan.

    Another one for me that clearly fits the bill - Kevin Finnegan v Tony Sibson.

    Sugar Ray Robinson against Gene Fullmer in their 3rd bout in Los Angeles. Ray put on a clinic that day. At 40 years old he was boxing circles around Fullmer only to get a draw. Robinson probably won 10 rounds.

    he, hopkins, did try for a one-punch ko. he kind of tried everything, with his old ass. hopkins (or any 49 yr old) had no business going the distance with kovalev. props to hops for lasting the distance.
