Skill : Proficiency that is acquired or developed through training or experience.

Talent : Innate ability. Natural endowment or ability.

Ability : a combination of natural aptitude and acquired proficiency.

(this is how i see it anyways)

So who are the most skilled, talented, and able boxers today?

    SKILL:
    1. Bernard Hopkins
    2. Floyd Mayweather

I give Hopkins an ever so slight edge here. IMO he has a hard time showing his amazing skill because he natural gifts have faded so badly.

    TALENT:
    1. Manny Pacquiao
    2. Joe Calzaghe

    Overall ability:

    1. Floyd Mayweather
    2. Manny Pacquiao
    3. Joe Calzaghe

I will add to these three lists later.

Floyd has both immense skill AND incredible raw talents. And not to mention a brain which enables him to maximize it all and put it together. That is why he's the P4P best.

Judah probably has as much raw talent as PBF but lacks in the skill and mental department.

Skill - Floyd..Need to say more? Most cerebral fighter this generation

Talent - Pacquiao - According to haters does everything wrong and lacks skill. How else do you explain what hes accomplished? He's a natural fighter, plain and simple. Born with superior speed and power.

Ability - Wlad, he can actually be great..Lots of potential

I think Judah also has as much skill as PBF. I think their fight certainly showed it. The only thing he's lacking, which is very important in the sport of boxing, is his mental fortitude. That's what prevents him from showcasing his skills entirely. If he fixes that problem, I have no problem putting him in this lists.

    Back to Topic.

    Skill:
    1. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    2. Juan Manuel Marquez
    3. Bernard Hopkins (in his prime)
    4. Ivan Calderon

    Talent:
    1. Roy Jones Jr. (in his prime)
    2. Manny Pacquiao
    3. Joe Calzaghe
    4. David Haye

    Ability:
    1. Joe Calzaghe
    2. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    3. Joan Guzman
