    Skilled Counter-Puncher vs Skilled Pressure Fighter? The pressure fighter has the edge, especially if he can hit assuming neither has a glass jaw.

    Counter-punchers work best vs slower handed non power
    punching opponents, usually with the hook as a counter, almost never counting a jab with their own jab.

    Definitive in the modern era for me was Calzaghe-Hopkins. Studying that fight is time well spent. Chief among the interest for me is how the volume puncher's output is reduced by a genuine skilled counter-puncher. That's how you tell a really good one I think.
