    Who is the best all around boxer from a technical perspective, taking everything into consideration. Defensively, Offensively, Inside Game, Outside Game, Counter Punching, Punch Placement, Punch Selection, Best Jab, Hook, Cross and Uppercut. Overall Ring Generalship. Control of Distance, and Range, Setting The Pace.

    Overall who is the closest to the Total Package???

    Floyd "Money" Mayweather
    Andre "Son of God" Ward
    Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins


    They've all fought a variety of different styles so there is a lot to draw your conclusions from, I left out Rigo because of his lack of top competition.

    Hopkins. The most versatile of the bunch. Does not have any particular amazing attributes but has a high level of skill adaptability and ring IQ. Even at near 50 he is competitive due to his skills alone.

    I'll also go with Hopkins, he doesn't have the speed to help him like the others.

    If we consider all skills including dirty tricks then it should be Hopkins.

    Overall..... BHop.

    He managed to survive and be competitive in a young mans sport until age 50.... that's amazing really.

    Floyd and Ward are obviously very good, lets see how Floyd handles Manny though. Ward though excellent seems to me to be rated like an ATG by some, but I think he relies too much on athleticism to be placed up with BHop and Floyd.

    Skills pay the bills and Mayweather is the most skilled boxer of the last 30 years. This is not even close at all.

    Mayweather is an elite defender, Hopkins is a superb all-arounder. Ward would come off third.

    I'd put JMM ahead of Ward if he was in the list.

    I went with BHOP as I see him as less of a physical talent than the other 2 who uses ring IQ and timing extremely well to beat skilled fighters who alot of times are more naturally talented than he.

    Mayweather is the most skilled. But in a tourney at the same weightclass, I'd pick Ward to win. He's a more talented spoiler than either of the other two. Not that that's something to admire.

    Poor Ward he's not getting any love, but like Kid Cincinnati said (who I hate to agree with) Ward at the same weight would beat FMJ.

    My pick is Hopkins. For his adaptability mixed with lack of natural athletic anility its very impressive he's done the most with the least amount of physical gifts.
