which one of these guys is a switch hitter?

    case closed

ward has all of floyds skills
    has better offense
and we have to consider weight slows you down- ward is fast as a cat considering

fmj is good but hes not unhittable like sweet pea

hopkins has great inside fighting- but a weak era has helped him last- against calzaghe he looked lost and resorted to acting

he was basically doing a broner maidana against calzaghe

 Amen. Even Ward and Hopkins recognize that themselves.

Hopkins will go down as the greatest out of the 3. Based on his resume, and longevity.

Mayweather by a fair distance I'd say. Hopkins and Ward have to relay on rough house tactics a lot more.

    :lol::lol:

I would've said Rigondeaux is up there in terms of skills with Mayweather -or at least a lot closer than Hopkins

Tough one they are pretty skilled

Who has beat more fighters in their prime and who has the better wins

    Best wins

Floyd - Oscar ,Corrales , Castillo

    Hopkins -Tarver ,Pacsal ,Cloud

    Ward - Kesselr ,Froch

The fights I listed where where there was no catchweight or any other circumstance like for Hopkins fighting Pavlik at LHW where he never competed at or Ward fighting Dawson at a catchweight or Floyd beating Marquez at welter .

    Hopkins.
Lasted as long because of his skills and also his so called "crafty" tactics in the last couple of years, but it is skill mostly that got him this far.
At his younger years he was unlucky to come up against a marvel like RJJ

Floyd has something that I have pointed out many times wich majorly helps his style. Extremely long arms and very wide shoulders for his size.
The shoulderrol is made for a guy build like him. He can almost defend his entire head behind his shoulder and then counter when his opponent is already moving away. Very hard to overcome style if you're not clearly taller or have an even longer reach. But also very, very skilled as he has shown for many years.
In Ward's case it's more about getting away with fouling, holding his opponent's lead hand in a lock and punching him with the other, and he "keeps his head in the game"... although he can actually box beautyful too.

Floyd is skilled but his reflexes make him look even more skilled. Hard to tell.

In terms of skills, I personally prefer what Ward brings.

However, it is hard for me to compare him with Floyd and Hopkins- or to say he is even as good as they are- since they both have much longer resume's and have proven their lasting skills over time.

If Ward resumes with matches, continues to succeed with relative ease against the top fighters available to him, and has longevity, then I would be able to see this as a reasonable comparison.

The best "Pure Set of Skills" should be able to last, so ask us this question again in 10 years.

Oh come on don't put Cloud as Hopkins top 3 win haha. Pavlik, Oscar, Tito and Winkey are better wins.
