Skills That Hopkins and Mayweather Have That Roy Jones Lacked?

Well, Hopkins, and I assume Mayweather, lacked the skill to beat Roy Jones, Jr. in a boxing match.

But seriously, I'd say they are better at rolling with, or picking off punches at close quarters, which means they have a better "plan B" when they can't simply shut down an opponent with their power.

jones has had longevity. More fights than Mayweather. Not many guys can compare to Hopkins in longevity, except Roberto Duran, yet Duran did not fight title fights at that age.
