Drop the 'achievements' rule and look at him from pure skill. Is PBF the greatest skilled fighter ever?
The speed, the defense, the punch variety, he has pretty much everything, he can fight on the outside, inside, he does it all.

In terms of skill, is Floyd P4P one of, if not THE greatest fighter ever in terms of skill?

    Not ever, no.
SRL, Hearns, Ali, all these geezers are more skilled than he is.
His inside game isn't that good, just Ricky's was worse.
HOWEVER! It does seem that he can get a win out of any sort of crazy-ass fight.

Even before this, everyone can attest that I already had him on this plateau. The ones I would put in the same breathe?

    RJJ
    SRR
    SRL
    Sweet Pea
    Ali
    Calzaghe (yes....him)
    Pep
    Taylor
    Camacho

And not many others in terms of pure skill....

(Im sure I am forgetting a quite a few, but those were off the top of my head)

That's an insanelt stupid list of fighters - Ali was technically quite average (pulling straight back from punches, no body shots etc), Hearns had all sorts of problems, SRL was a better athlete than FLoyd, but with nowhere near the technical proficiency.

Yes, Mayweather is the best I've seen, probably up their with Robinson pure skill wise.

In terms of pure skill I would also add Salvador Sanchez and Juan Manuel Marquez - neither have the speed and reflexes of a Jones or Mayweather, but they can do it all.

I'm sure were missing some others too

Duran is up there as well
