I'm from England so didn't really no much about this guy. Just spent an hour watching Youtube Clips of him on ESPN. He's a funny Charismatic Guy. His views on Mayweather are Hilarious - He obviously hates him, but I see his side too. What are people thoughts on SKIP Bayless. Well, I'm from Scotland and even I know he's a joke. His idiocy has managed to cross the ocean and permeate my consciousness. His views on other sports are equally stupid but that's his angle.
I don't know how it is in the UK but here in America we have these professional "trolls" like Skip Bayless who make a living out of just being controversial. He just says the most insulting things, get's attention and has managed to make a career off of it. Some admire that because of the money he's making but for me, I get nothing out of it. I want to hear good insight to sports, not some guy just stirring the pot to get athletes and fans angry at him. That's just me though.
Guy knows nothing about boxing. The hell did you watch that made you admire him? And from some videos I watched he doesn't know much about other sports either.
As far as boxing goes... Skip is worthless. He can talk Mayweather because it's his job.. so he just repeats the same talking points. Almost nothing he says can be taken seriously because you can tell the guy did 30 minutes of internet "research" before a boxing segment.. which is usually Mayweather/Pacquiao related.
