They got you too, Bayless? Shame. I don't get this whole thing about Pac dominating JMM for 5 rds. It's like they don't even acknowledge the knockdown in rd 3 when Pac was sent to the canvas. Of course they give the rd to JMM out of obligation. But totally undermine the fact that that was the first time someone made Pac look silly in a long, long time. Not even the great Morales was able to pull that kind of performance off.

Having JMM in trouble does not mean you will beat him. In fact he's most dangerous when he's hurt. Watch his first fight with Diaz. At one point Diaz's pressure seemed enough to break JMM. He works his way out of the storm and ends up KO Diaz. Pac is not Diaz you say? Well, then watch JMM-Pac 1. Knocked down 3 times, comes back to box off Pac's ears. It doesn't matter who you are, if you're super extra aggressive, you are going to get knocked out due to the high level of counter punching skills JMM possesses. But obviously you are going to get some shots in before that happens. He is not God and does bleed. But can you finish him? Nobody has.

He said something like this about 2 months ago when Marquez and Manny were both on the show, First Take. I really try to believe that some of the stuff Bayless says is to just create something to talk about since him and Stephen A. Smith aren't supposed to see eye to eye for the show, but I know Bayless is as huge a Pacquiao fan as their is...and Tim Tebow too.

 

skip's got no idea what he's talking about. marquez's vicious counter shots are what kept manny for going all out for the stoppage.

And when Marquez knocked out Pacquiao, he's potentially cheating.

Boxing media, at least a large part with their agendas, can go **** themselves, get AIDS and die a miserable ****ing death, that's what I think. They don't deserve to be part of this great sport.
