I like to skip for about 30-45 minutes straight.
Try going straight through, and see how YOU feel. If it drains you and detracts from your boxing work, don't do it.

I reckon ill have a go at that itd really build up your conditioning , however so far i have found the round form really helps the recovery rate , i only do 5 rounds so itd be like starting from scratch again lol but ill give it a whirl and aim for 10 mins this week 15 next week and build it up , im not in bad shape so shouldnt take to long:good

In the beginning just skip a couple of ruonds to get warmed up. But after you have done everything else in your workout all the necessary skill development sparring etc then you should skip for fitness whether doing intervels for a few rounds or doing the joe frazier 15 str8 min of hard skipping.
