i couldnt skip at all till a couple of months ago (well apart from jumping up and down with two feet).

i tried doing two hops on one leg then two on the other, then after a short while i could do alternate legs if you know what i mean!?

Sorry if that doesnt make any sense!

Yeah, sometimes I go full rounds but mostly its like a minute fast, half slower, minute fast, etc. When I was fighting I would do that up to 12-15 minutes but not lately, its been just a minute or almost two, take a short break, minute, etc.

Yeah, for whatever reason I don't flub that much but it sure ISN'T smooth. My coordination is just ... different:roll: heh heh. My rope was pretty much exactly like I fought though: high intensity explosions, never smooth or controlled. Some guys can't handle that, some guys keep their heads great. I always relied on a very physical kind of style and my jump rope reflects that for sure.

I'm not a counter puncher, I pressure, so timing was never what I really wanted so much as to be able to explode in such a way that my opponent would fold quickly.

  3. yeah me too , i struggle to believe somebody cannot skip for longer than 20 seconds unless there morbidly obease or have a prior injury which gets in the way , if youve practice enough its easy to master
